Project Manager

Stratagem is currently looking for talented Project Managers. Our Project Managers are responsible for leading major design and installation projects. They often lead the front-end functional definition, analysis, and design of business applications. They are also responsible for day-to-day project work planning, resource allocation, and deliverable administration.

Our Project Managers have expertise in formal project management methodologies and tools, and work within structured systems development life-cycle methodologies. Project Managers have a broad blend of technology, industry, and application experience, and have excellent communication and presentation skills. They ensure that Stratagem consistently delivers high-quality products and services on time and within budget. Stratagem's Project Managers meet the following qualifications:

• Experience leading large application development projects successfully through their entire development life cycles (example: projects in the $3 million range)
• Background in leading projects in n-tier, client/server, or Internet platforms
• Significant experience in functional definition, analysis, and design of major business applications
• Knowledge of, and practical experience using, a formal project management methodology
• Ability to apply multiple systems development methodologies and approaches
• Familiarity with Use Cases and RUP/UML
• Package selection and implementation expertise is a plus
• Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• At least eight years of experience in information technology, coupled with a four-year degree in business or IT
• Three to five years as a team lead or project management experience
• PMI-certified professionals preferred
• Diverse industry background; investment industry and financial applications experience is preferred.

Business Analyst

Stratagem is currently looking for talented Business Analysts. Our Business Analysts elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. They are responsible for managing business requirements through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Our business analysts gain an understanding of business problems, methods, and procedures, and recommend solutions that enable organizations to achieve their goals.

Stratagem’s Business Analysts bridge the gap of understanding between the business needs and the technology. Qualifications include:

• 4+ years of business analysis or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of development lifecycle methods (Waterfall, Agile, RUP)
• Knowledge of developing use cases, UML, and workflow processes
• Knowledge of business analysis principles as well as development and quality methodologies, practices, techniques, and tools
• Experience with requirements elicitation, documenting use cases, use case diagrams, or process flows
• Ability to assess current capabilities, identify high-level business requirements, and conduct gap analysis
• Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from true needs
• Ability to anticipate user needs before they arise and present solutions to project management that encompass issues at hand
• Experience as liaison between IT and business users, internal and external customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group at many levels of an organization

.Net Developer

Stratagem is currently looking for talented .Net Developers to join our team. Our Developers use a variety of technical tools to build high-quality applications that meet end-user needs. They review specifications from analysts and architects, develop and test application code, and create and maintain technical documentation. Developers at Stratagem have strong analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills. They also possess an exemplary attention to detail, and are able to work within a variety of technical, application, and team environments. Developers have a blend of Internet, client/server, midrange, and mainframe platform and development tool expertise. Other qualifications include:

• 5+ years of IT experience
• Expertise in applying System Development Lifecycle techniques
• 2+ years of work experience with Visual Basic.Net and/or C#
• Working experience with one or more enterprise relational databases (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, DB2)
• Working knowledge of analysis and design techniques
• Ability to learn and follow methodologies and standards
• Experience with Crystal Reports is a plus

Java Developer

• At least 5 years of information technology experience
• 2 or more years of practical Java development, including experience in the following: STRUTS, J2EE, EJB, and JSP
• Working experience with one or more enterprise relational databases (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, DB2)
• Experience with WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD)
• Solid experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
• XML preferred
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of industry experience) in CS or related field
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
